I'm just now getting into outlaw rc drag racing 3s. Been trying to find a 3s capable esc that can ramp in power time based. The basic sidewinder esc I have now it just spins so bad to start it's uncontrollable

I believe most definitely, the open source community needs to come out with a more intuitive, interface, and skin for this radio. That would help sell the radio much better to the surface radio RC community. The terminology might be fine for the people in the fpv community, but as you mentioned, most regular Joes in the surface world won't bother with this radio.

Just started building my B7. Couple if things I've noticed is the hinge pins are kinda not smooth. Little flitz and a drill fixed that problem. Just wrap the shaft in a bit of blue shop towel. Insert in the drill and a very small amount of Flitz paste. Polished them up and they are silky smooth now. Back in the late 90s it's one of the things we did. Also polished the stock shock shafts. One thing to do with carbon is to use a precision tap. It will be a big help. Takes more time but is well worth it. Still on the fence about the 3 gear R1. Mostly due to the price and waiting for some reviews of is it faster and such. Great video. Just found your channel and subscribed.

I just switched to the mt12 from the flysky noble and I could instantly feel the throttle and steering both felt a lot more linear and the car was significantly easier to control.

I just did my 1st race in 8 years with my 21.5 B7D that I just got together. I no longer had a camber or ride height gauge so those were likely off. I was about 2 seconds slower than the fastest guy it seems like. Some of my laps weren't the best because I was just trying to stay out of the way a bit. I think my 1st upgrade will be a slipper eliminator because I feel like 21.5 doesn't need a slipper.

I’m converting all of my RC land vehicles to ELRS w/ my RadioMaster MT12, I love it. Three are converted, four 5 channel and three more 3 channel RX’s to go before the entire fleet is on one remote and protocol. No more grabbing a separate remote control for each car.

Hello me I ask if it is normal about radiomaster mt12 when the receiver battery inside RC buggy is drop about 40% the Rx signal will drop maximum 4 bars drops to 2bars and the calibration of steering will delay? I'm using radio master mt12 4in1

Again great videos. Learn a lot from them. Got a question. I have Losi 22s with carbon fiber chassis. Castle Monster x and 7700kv Castle motor. Running 25 pinion 78 spur. Consistently in the 2.5s at 56-57 mph. Made 2 passes 2.49 at 59 mph. Setting in controller and esc timing seems to be the tune car likes but I want to get in 2.4s 60s consistent. I am thinking about doing gear change instead of tinkering with settings in esc. Timing, ramp etc. would that be a good starting point to get more time and mph out of car do gearing change?

TT02 is the best class man! Our club has a similar class.

The JIS Tamiya screws are terrible I only have one money pit atm and I put in HEX hardware. I in Japan for working 2 weeks so picking up some cheap parts there and maybe a BBX as it 29000 yen before duty free if not a 6500yen green edition frog.

I am just looking at getting back into RC racing this winter. I have a b5m because that's how long I haven't been racing but going to convert that to a street stock. I am commenting on your video mostly because of the gone bananas foam. I raced with the person that makes those in Monroe WI and that's likely where I will be doing dirt oval. He is a great guy.

About to order a MT12. Gonna use it for my crawlers/scalers coming from the Flysky GT3C hacked 8ch. One question. Can you set up a model. And then copy that model. So you set everything up for 1 crawler. And then just copy that profile for every next crawler you bind. So you only have to change the name and maybe some small adjustments. Possible?

How about front diff on a box stock class?. use a normal Grease or harder like bubble gum to make itbfaster. I raced box stock too in a club race but motor is allow only 540n brushed mabuchi.

BTW Tamiya kits use JIS screws, not American Philips. Although a regular Philips #2 tip will work, you’re right and the right tool is always best👍🏻

I just put all of the R1 Parts on my b7, did you find any stiffness in your 3 gear transmission? Mine doesn't seem to feel free flowing, I haven't had the opportunity to put it on the track yet

I actually like my B7D so much I bought a 2nd one so I could have a 5 gear car and a 3 gear car. It's a shame about all the teething problems but I thankfully I haven't had any issues at all. So much better than the B6.4D, I couldn't stand that car lol
